60$ Live tourney hand advice

This is my first post on here. Please excuse the non 2+2 lingo.

Just busted out a live $60 tourney really early on with QQ. I cant help but play the hand over in my head, trying to decide if i made the correct play or not.

5000TC 15min Blinds, Blinds at 50/100.
Villan min raises in early position and a player in Middle position calls along with the button. The tables playing pritty loose and aggressive. there's 600 in the pot and I raised it up to 700.

The early position raiser tanks for a while then raises to 2100. MP raiser/Button fold. I thought that if he had KK or AA he would have re raised a little faster. So I put his most likely holding on AQ or better or JJ's. I called intending to fold if I saw a A or K.

Flop came 972 Rainbow. I thought about what might happen if I check or raise and decided that if I check i could fold if he made a value like bet or call if he went all in.

Villan went all in and I considered that suspicious since if he had KK or Aces he would have bet for value on such a dry board and we still had decent stacks left.

I called villan flipped over AK and K fell on the turn.

Should I have lead out on the flop and folded to a re raise?

Im definatley a fan of leading that flop, If not shoving that flop because checking to him and letting him bet is pricing him in to call a 3 bet to try to hit on of his overs.. I personally hate his shove with ace king on the flop but maybe he thought you missed as well. and you not making a re raise pre flop didnt define your hand strength.

if you call you have 40% of your stack in so its hard to fold even if an A or K comes. I would shove or fold to his 4B depending on how i felt about his range. But with a turbo structure I would be tempted to shove V often.

Re: 60$ Live tourney hand advice

I would have led out with a 1/2-2/3 pot sized bet on the flop with no intention of folding if he raised me. You're pot committed and if he pushed with air (which he did), you got your money in right and he had to get lucky to win the hand. With two overs to your queens, he's a 3-1 dog to catch his hand, so if you make this bet 100 times in the same situation, the expectation is very +EV.
