Pretty funny though that even dealers don't get a break on resort fees.

Can anyone give me some advice on where to stay for 10-14 days? I will be playing at the different venues -- PH, WSOP at Rio, Venetian. I probably will just stay in a hotel, but I was wondering if anyone has any insights about trying to rent a condo-like space at MGM Signature, Vdara or some place like that where there might be a small kitchen. Trying to find the best site or contact to rent that kind of option.

Thanks!

Palms place your best option for that.

Are you suggesting Palms Place because of proximity to Rio or is there something else I should know about it?

ALL advertising is misleading, because it is meant to get you to buy the product, not know everything there is possible to know about the product.
My standard is that I shouldn't have to call you to find out your fee breakdown.
They don't have to put the fees in their spread in cardplayer or on marketing materials, but it should be available on structure sheets and/or schedules.

Pretty much everyone adheres to that now. There have been some occasions where fees haven't been available in writing at all. That is obviously a problem.

I have not been able to find the daily deepstacks structures for this year. Any reason to think they may have changed from last year?

Will there be an extra signup cage opened for the Colossus, or just a really really really long line?

Does anybody know what the payout structure for the draft kings event will be. It's a 1500 event that pays 50% of field. I'm guessing 26%-50% gets same payout like 1800.

All of the folks (Allen, Johnny, etc) who have been annually whining about the availability of fees, have stipulated that they should be clearly present in all buy-in advertising, such as the one-page magazine ads you often see.

This would seem to be different from your position.

As for the other matter, I have never seen a structure sheet that doesn't include them. But I don't play hundreds of events a year or anything. If such structure sheets exist, then it would be right for anyone to complain about missing fee information.

Lastly, what are you referring to when you ask about special rates?

Pre-Register, Pre-Register, Pre-Register...the WSOP organizers can't stress this enough.

+1. I've preregistered every year except for 1 in the last 10 years, and that 1 year of standing in line sucked. Needless to say I'll never play the wsop again without preregistering.

Going out for a week of the WSOP for the first time this year. I'm flying in the night before flight B of the Millionaire Maker so I've pre-registered for that one, but what do you guys think about needing or not needing to pre-reg for other events that week (e.g., $1k turbo, and standard $1.5k and $1k tournaments)? I was planning on picking an off peak time to register in person.

You'll have no problem registering in person (even for the big-field events) if you do it at off-peak times.

Is the best off peak time like 8-9am? Or late at night?

Your times work.

There are bracelets events at 12 and 4 most days, the big deepstack at 3, and a mega at 8. Just avoid those registration periods. Coincidentally, if you need to pawn off some satellite lammers, these periods present excellent business opportunities.
