I was under the impression that Choctaw was running all of the non-main event PNIA/WPT events anyway, unlike WSOPC, which the WSOPC actually runs all the events for. Is that correct?
Choctaw dropped the guarantee back to $200K because it missed in the PNIA and it would have missed this time too. Choctaw runs all the events with Jimmy Sommerfeld as their TD, the wsopc just sets the buyins and structures and tells them their events have to run 12 rings in 12 days.

Huge? More so than the other WSOP?

I would think pretty similar numbers, ~1500 in main.

Where are the rakes posted for the River Series? When I see no rake posted on a tournament flyer, it normally means high enough to be embarrassing. Nothing makes me NOT want to attend a tournament more than flyers missing entry fee breakdowns.

Maybe they are "juice free". But I agree with you about if they aren't disclosed they are usually high.

Schedule and structures are up on their website. I found it interesting that the main is paying 12%. If I am reading that right you are in the money if you make day 2. I like this, but it could make for long day 1s especially on Saturday/Sunday.

Agree that the information should be readily available. In the past the rake has actually been lower than most comparable tournaments though.

This has been the case since at least 2008 and in all those years, they played to 10% instead of 12% so the day 1s should be a bit shorter this year than in years past.

I like it as well, but lots of people don't like it since it means that each day plays a different length of time. Obv it's kind of annoying to, say, make 1500-3000 blinds and bust, and another flight ends at 1200-2400, but it's also annoying to survive Day 1A with a small stack, and then have to skip 1B and 1C without any guarantee of making money.

I hate to miss these. The megas for the River have to be some of the best value in any tournament nationwide. The level of play is as bad as you will ever see in a $500+ tournament and the added seats take it over the top. Hoping to get away and play in at least one of these.

agreed about the add value. There are some horrendous plays being made. I managed to grind my short stack into money when people that had 40k plus just donk off chips when they dont need to play a hand to make the money.

Would everyone's guess of orser of size for field size on main event starting days from largest to smallest be Saturday, Sunday, and Friday?

Last year's order was Sunday, Saturday, Friday if I remember correctly.

Yeah, Sun > Sat > Fri. The fact that Mon is a holiday, and that there is re-entry makes Sun the biggest.

I'm looking to purchase a main event entry from someone who won a mega satellite entry. Thanks in advance. I would play day 1 on sept 1, preferably.

The 2500 lammer is good for any day. Not giving out specific days anymore.

No main event lammers for sale?

I have some lammers for sale. I am willing to sell 2,500 lammer for $2,460 or 5,000 lammer for $4,900. Price firmed as I am sure I can get full value at the line. Lammers are good for all tournaments during the series including the $550 mega. The 2,500 lammer can be exchanged from the cashier for the 500 or 100 lammers so that you can buy into the cheaper events.

Also, looking to buy stakes on right players. PM ME with poker accomplishments.

Those who have a players card and have played cash in the past are frequently eligible for near-free rooms based on availability of course just have to pay $10 in taxes / night.

Call the number on the back of the player's card, (800) 622-6317, and provide your #. You might be pleasantly surprised. I've played maybe 30 hours of cash there in my life (no table games and maybe $5 on slots to run through new sign up free play), and I've gotten 4 free room nights / month every month for over a year now since my first visit. And FWIW, I don't live in TX/OK, but I don't think it matters bc WS understands most of their patronage comes from people who live at least an hour drive away.
