Yah, I saw that. Now I am thoroughly confused. I guess we show up and see what happens...

They had always scheduled a full lineup of DDS today.
It's tomorrow and Saturday that are scheduled not to have the 2pm.

They obviously anticipate smaller numbers for flights A&B of Colossus before the weekenders arrive.

From KevMath Twitter: At this time, all scheduled deepstacks and the 8pm mega are scheduled for today

They are running. Yea. 290 runners in 5:00.

So these typically take around 12-14 hours start to finish?

Does anyone have a link to the results of these deepstacks? WSOP site had one last year, but I cant find it this year...? Curious. Thanks.

Contrary to what the schedule said, the 2 pm $235 IS running today (6/3), so far there are 440 entries.

Colossus players are busting quickly, freeing up the tables.

There were more than enough tables. The problem was lack of interest.

Final count was 720-ish.

The new 15% payout sucks unless you love the mincash. I think the mincash was at player 109 and barely paid a profit. Payout didn't get to 4 digits until 18th! FT mincash was $1500. First, second, third get decent pays but otherwise they stink. Build them stacks as fast as you can, boys. If you're card dead for very long you're going to need that cushion.

Any announcements about Saturday DDS? Yesterday the 5:00 was pushed back to 6:00. I'm guessing that today they may have to cancel the 5:00 with a large colossus field at 4:00. Any word on that?

I can't see 15% lasting past this year.

Answer for Saturday is that the 2:00 $235 is moved to 8:00 and that will be the only daily that will run.

I'm guessing the 5pm will be delayed until at least 7pm. No announcement, but there are hundreds of alternates for flight F who still need to be seated. Currently showing 4166 registered flight F.

Does anyone have the "average" payout for first place on all the dailies?

It makes some sense for the Main. Playing 4 or 5 days and getting skunked sucks. But for everything else that cashes in 1 day it just takes the joy out of winning anything short of top 5. The Colossal is going to be a real cluster having the first place guarantee AND 15% paid.

Doesn't having a 15% Main impair the bragging rights of previous ME cashers, to say that one "cashed"? Wil they put an asterick next to the winners' names like Roger Maris who beat Babe Ruth's home run record, but in 162 games instead of 154?

That's actually not the case at all. Payouts are much better this year in the Colossus. Everything is more $ from 36th and on. All FT positions are much higher which should be the case.
