The Inn is connected to the casino but is a long walk to the poker/tourney showroom area but it does include fridges and microwaves in the rooms. The Lodge used to be a Microtel that is on their parking lot that also have fridges/microwaves and there is a free shuttle back an forth to the casino 24/7 that drops you off right by the tourney area.

Thanks for the info guys. I know its hard to gauge but like for the Inn that's connected are we talking a 200 yard walk? Half mile? I have a reservation up the road at Hampton Inn and Suites that they tell me is only 3 or 4 miles away but if the Inn is a comparable room I might switch. Thanks again.

Ballpark guess is the Inn is a 1/4 mile walk to the Grand showroom where the event takes place. Also the cash games will be moved from their upstairs location to a room across from the Grand showroom for this event.

I made the walk in about 5-6 minutes but I know placement of every curve of layout it's not a bad walk

Cash games will be in same area as tournaments during this series. Garage parking is closest.

do you need a harrahs total reward card and a choctaw players card for this?

Choctaw players card for everything. Not a harrahs property.

How do I get from Dallas to Choctaw?

Doesn't Durant, OK have an airport?

If Durant has an airport it is probably for private planes. People fly into either Dallas or sometimes Oklahoma City and most rent a car however Choctaw does have shuttles from about 3 locations in Dallas.

For me it is a short little stint from Allen to Durant in about an hour on 75. Usually doing 10 over the speed limit the entire way.

The longest part of the trip seems to be once I cross the border.

So unfortunately this time around I can't take any time off work for this event, so I'll be traveling up for the first 3 weekends in January from Houston. My question is regarding the Sunday Jan 3rd tournaments. Are they one day? Specifically, is the 2 PM NLHE and/or the 5 PM PLO a one day event? Is the 200K guarantee that starts Jan 1st and 2nd ending the 3rd or will it go until Monday the 4th? I see that the Sunday tourneys on the 10th and 17th are 1-day ring events, so looking forward to ending the weekends with those.]

Thanks,

Both Jan 3 tourneys you mentioned are 1 day events as is the 7pm event. As for the 200K it should end between 9pm and Midnight Sunday.
