Will be interesting to see how it plays out. If the vote has to be unanimous, and each elimination after the field reaches 20% results in a prize pool now being spread amongst fewer players, why would the chip leaders ever agree to a chop?
Agree that it will be very interesting. You can bet that once they hit 20%
left there will be constant verbal pressure being applied by the short stack/pro-chopping camp. I wouldn't be surprised if fisticuffs broke out at some point.
Not sure why the casino would want to actively encourage this. But it's something new, so lets see how it goes. Might be a new trend. Maybe winner take all.
