Extra tables on the floor or something?

The Rio was very unkind to me, but I played Day 1A of this tourney and advanced to day 2. Extremely pleased and look forward to coming back on July 5th.

Anyone play one of this $150 nightly? Seems like a satellite to the event instead of the regular $125.

All three heats ended at 5% in the same level and I'll get Justin to put the finishing times when he gets a chance.

25% of the way to the guarantee and 7 more heats, I believe the $2,000,000 guarantee should be crushed.

I was under the impression that these were satellites? Can anyone confirm are these for cash or just satellites into the 550

Not that I minded the payouts.

Nothing we can do about a fan specifically. Much is being done do alleviate the smoke. New air conditioning machines were put in Wednesday, and we always activley shoo away smokers that aren't gambling, and ask those that are if they can put it out. It's not perfect, but most of the time it isn't smokey.

WPT during the day, $150 NLH at 7p

The $150 tournaments at night are cash tournaments, but 1 seat to the WPT500 is awarded to 1st. Top prize has been around 7k pretty consistently every night. There will be $125 supers at 7 from June 29-July 4. These will be awarding seats only (with leftover cash being paid out to the last player that doesn't win a seat).

Justin, I played for over 6 hours on Monday and not once did as anyone "shooed" away. The smoke was bothersome most of the time playing. A simple fan would have helped. The AC system has little hope for helping.

Could somebody kindly post all day 1 no. of entrants for last yr and so far this yr? Trying to find, not having success. Ty.

Poker players do like promos and comps. Maybe run a contest where you randomly select an entrant to the WPT500 and upgrade them to a 25k High Roller seat.

A discounted entry into a High Roller wouldn't be the smartest promotion for ARIA to run right now. We do have contests and giveaways every week through our Twitter and Periscope accounts though. We've given away tournament entries, including into the WPT500, as well as lots of swag. We may also be giving away a nice chunk of this $2 million. Decent incentive to play IMO.

I was there playing at Aria all weekend. God I love the Euros and all these tourney grinders. They bust, come sit at cash and just spew it all away! Cant wait to fly back in a few weeks. Aria is a must play for cash games.

Can anybody please confirm that there is free wifi in the Aria poker areas, even if you're not a hotel guest? I remember last summer that my friends playing in WPT500 couldn't access wifi.
