2013 Caesars Palace Winter Poker Classic: 1/4-1/17
Schedule
Usual assortment of low buy-in events, a total of $250,000 in guaranteed prize pools. The one event people might have more interest in is the $240 NBC National Heads-Up Championship Qualifier event, where the winner gets a seat for the return of that made-for-TV tournament. Edit: The NBC HU qualifier was removed from the schedule. |
Re: 2013 Caesars Palace Winter Poker Classic: 1/4-1/17
Surprised how far down the forum I had to look to find this thread. Not much interest in this series, huh?
I played several events in January of '11 and had a pretty good time. The structure may have changed since then, but I recall it being pretty good other than one instance around the dinner break where it seemed that a blind level was skipped. The fields were pretty good then too, with 200+ in the full ring NLHE events. If I remember correctly, that's right around the time the re-entry phenomenon was starting. Does anyone have any thoughts on these tournaments? |

LD, when I looked at WSOP.com earlier this week, there was a banner telling NV residents to watch NBC News to win a seat for the NBC HU. Maybe they'll do something through their free.wsop.com software?
Edit: That no longer appears on the WSOP.com site, maybe to return shortly? |
