Anyone plan on playing?
I hope to play the warmup to the main, but if not due to work, the Player appreciation the following day, and def the main. About time I broke through in one of these.

With seats given away and daily satty, I would say a decent number in the Main. For the two days probably 300-400.

I'm probably playing the 240 the weekend before and the main. Can't do more than that with work obligations.

Yeah, I would guess anywhere from 250-400... I'm actually not too sure. All the events have great structures and start pretty deep, so there is a decent amount of value in basically every one.

It was, but it was a WPT regional event. This is there own series and they are trying to keep it lower to get people there versus the Hard Rock. I like the lower buy-ins, lets me play more than just one event.

Same as "their" (malman) regular tournies. Very player friendly. Click the link, I think it's on the page somewhere.

Thanks for thinking I'm an employee of Derby but I'm actually just a player that lives 5 minutes from there. If you are who I think you are we have played at a home game together.

I was just correcting your misuse of their. You used there. And I'm not sure about that actually. PM me

Do you guys think it would be a good idea to register ahead of time for the Warm up to the Main? Plan on playing on Friday (and Sunday...) but don't want to miss out or get stuck in line.

Searched the whole site but didn't find their standard structures anywhere.

They have almost every level you could possibly want... something like this:
25/50
50/100
75/150
100/200
150/300/25
200/400/50
300/600/75
(race off 25 chips)
400/800/100
500/1000/200
600/1200/300 etc... I may have missed 250/500(?), but this is pretty standard for their tournies I'm pretty sure.

Do they post the results of these tournies to Cardplayer/Hendon Mob?

I don't know if they do. I'll probably be there tomorrow night and for the tournament over the weekend so I can find out.

I played the Satty last night. The 1pm still had 30 players off 129 entries. First was $6,150.

I also have my seat to the main. We only got 13 players for the satty so they paid two seats plus $245 for third. Even though small, it was a fun time, especially winning my seat. Only place I had to get REAL lucky was all-in Pre my 77 sucked out on KK. We were five handed, I put him on an all-in shove with a big Ace. I committed about 20% on a raise UTG and he shoved from the BB. Flop came 854 and the turn brought the 6. Brutal suckout, but thought it was the spot to make my stand.

Good luck to everyone if/when you play.

I made it to day 2 with 183k. One funny thing at my table with about 6 tables left is I was the youngest by about 20 years, and I'm 39. One guy commented that he was going to 3bet me but I looked a little too old, and probably less full of ****.

Bah, 6th in the warm-up event. I was a bit disheartened that I couldn't finish higher than the old guy who was drinking the whole final table.
