So true, will be very interested to see how many people played and hear some feedback from 2+2ers who played the ante only tourney today at the Caesar's WSOPc.
If they have a WSOP ante only tourney I can't wait to get berated for limping at 100/100a1200 with 32o.

It should be a 3k (9k chips). blinds at 25/25 the entire time. First two levels should be 25 ante, then increase very slowly from there.

The discussion they were having was 1K buyin, 3000 chips, 2hr/rounds. 25ante, 25bring in,. He said he would vote against.

I agree if they do it, it should be at least $2500 or $3000.

Guys there are NO BLINDS in this structure. The antes in caesars event today are (with the #on left representing the minimum bring in pre and post flop):

25-25
25-50
25-75
25-100
25-125
25-150
25-200
25-300
100-400
100-500

And it continues as such increasing the BI amount about every 8 levels or so.

Yes. It happened a few times at my table when 125ante/plyr = 1125. The cutoff player would have brain freeze

Wait, ppl are not only folding, but it's actually folding to the cutoff? You can just limp for min, right?

Yes, you can limp for 25 the first 8 levels, then 100 later on. Sometimes you forget that you just have to beat the button and fold.

Some questions:
1. Will the Big "O" (5 card PLO8) make its inaugural appearance?
2. Will badugi make it out as a separate event?

+1 to Ante Up NLHE.
+1 to end PLHE.

Personally, I'd like to see a PLO/PLO8 mix or even a PLO/PLO8/5 card PLO/5 card PLO8 mix. The Venetian had a PLO/PLO8 MTT set in their most recent MTT series.

Its crazy that plh hasn't completely died already. No one likes it, it makes the fields like 3X smaller than if it was nl. Only good thing about it is that it prob added one more big buyin holdem tourny to the wsop with the 10k plh championship. Hopefully if they do get rid of plh, which they obv should, they just change that to a 5k or 10k nlh and not just scrap it completely.
