Last Year's event 1 got like 880 runners. The $500 tourneys normally get 300-450 the first weekend.

FYP since you didn't get the memo. Razz was approved by rule change last year, and Borgata has been spreading HORSE MTTs as part of its big event series since then.

I called today, the lady on the phone didn't know of any poker room rate being released yet. Seems odd as it's coming up very soon but I'm sure Sandy has something to do with it.

I have been looking for flights into ACY. Is the airport closed due to the storm?

I also called looking for poker rates and they had no clue...

Just did the Harrah's phone run around for about twenty minutes. Finally got the code for the tournament: WSOP12

Only problem is the rates for rooms isn't as good as the rate by just putting in my Total Rewards Number online. I got a rate of $206 for 12/1 and $36 for 12/2 for the nicer, newer tower.

Could have gotten as low as $190 Sat $20 Sun if I had wanted to be in the older tower.

I don't have a ton of player points so the rates anyone with any play on their card should be able to get

Yeah, I was able to get lower rates without the code and through the my total rewards page. Saturday is pretty pricey, but I was able to get Mon-Thurs for $25/day.

I think the only airline that still flies into there is Spirit airlines. You need to fly to next closest airport which is philly if you want to use any other airline. Either rent a car from there or catch the greyhound or train to AC.

Wound up booking Borgata since the rates were very similar and Borg is obviously nicer. Still kind of pricey for 11/30 and 12/1 though.

Does anyone know the structure for the $180 + $30 Nightly 7PM MTT's? Is it the same as the $365/$580/$1,125 NLH Ring Events just with less starting chips?
