Those fees are high. I hope they get a good turnout to make up for it. Anyone interested in sharing a room for this? Hit me up if anyone has arrangements or wants to make them. So far I can't make reservations for this because the Caesars website won't let me do it for all the dates. Is there an offer code for rooms yet?

why do they always schedule these LO8 events? yet no HORSE, PLO, or at least OE?

Didn't they raise the fees across the board on the WSOP Circuit because they are no longer taking money out of the prize pool for dealer tips?

I'm interested in sharing a room, don't mind taking one at harrahs or the closeby golden nugget, i'm planning to be there from the 29 to the 8/9... still relevant?

FWIW, O8 events consistently draw more players than PLO or HORSE in Atlantic City (not sure I've ever seen an OE tourney spread).

Any update on poker rate rooms during the series?

Are there any moderate cost options for transportation from Philly Airport to AC? I usually rent a car but then it just sits in parking at the casino for 5 days. Ideas appreciated.

Any idea if the storm affects this?

Curious about this as well. I haven't seen a timetable yet for when the casino is scheduled to re-open. I've heard a lot of the casinos in AC had extensive roof and water damage.

I know you can take new jersey transit from 30th street to the atlantic city convention center (about 45 mins). Its less than 10$. You can probably take a cab from the airport to 30th street station.

I think theres a septa train line right from airport that can take u to 30th street, and then u can catch the nj transit fron there to ac for $10. Id check on both septa/nj transit sites beforehand to make sure theyre back on schedule since sandy. Also, harrahs is real close to borgata which has a series in few days that will be running, so id be very surprised if sandy causes harrahs series to not run in few weeks.

They will have between 400-500 for the main with the 2 starting days imo
