Are these for each event, or just the Player of the Series?

last year total was 1.231, so I guess this year will be much less, correct?

Finished day 1A with 80K, totally happy with that (average stack is about 100K). I think we had 48 players left out of 395, play stopped around 11:15. Tomorrow 1B will play the same amount of time. The V staff was great as usual!

Being over at Palazzo is Ok but the new setup they're making at Venetian sounds awesome, the whole poker room will be glassed in. The area outside the poker room where they used to expand every summer will be a permanent part of the poker room.

They've also got some new comp items, some of them take more than one voucher. Didn't get to check them out yet, but there is a jacket and a couple other new items.

Also played 1A, but busted out on a cooler before the end of the night. Will be back for 1B.

Definitely some start of the series problems. Some new dealers had a really tough time collecting the 50 and 75 antes. We played 7-handed twice for about half an orbit as there was no floor around to notify of the empty seats. Nothing major, though.

I thought the food service team was on top of their game, though. I didn't order, but they seemed to be pretty available. Same with beverage service, obviously... never had a complaint there. Those new food options sure are overpriced. Little tip, take your $10 comp (skip the t-shirt) over to Grand Lux and get a pre-made salad or sandwich + two pieces of fruit for no cash out of pocket. Best deal (and healthy).

Good tip on Grand Lux. To say the other food options have resort pricing is putting it kindly. The only other reasonable options are over at V.

Played the sickest hand yesterday in event 1

This kid in seat 10 who seemed solid, had been avoiding me (seat 6) up until this point. A lock pro gets sat directly to his left.. I think to myself, the kid in seat 10 is going to be coming after me..bc he would rather go to war with me being on his right then the guy to his left. So Im excpecting something from him
