You can try some of the cheaper hotels around the area that are closer to 61. But this past weekend, I was told by some guys who drove down from Nashville that every room in Tunica was sold out. That was probably a combination of the poker tournament and the pool event going on. There will probably be some rooms somewhere, but I am not sure when the pool tournament ends.

I'm gonna look around just frustrating because gold strike actually has rooms available just not for the tourney rate. I even read a post on here about the room block being fixed and should be no problem getting a room

Thank you, Gold Strike, for an awesome experience. I went for both of the LO8 events and played a few hours of cash LO8 as well. It was all good. You have to watch the dealers sometimes, but I'm guessing it's that way anywhere that has humans dealing. Next time, I might even stay in the hotel.

Does anybody know what time the 200k guarantee finished on Sunday night?

We had 169 entries yesterday and 217 today for a total of 386. We needed 387 to meet the $75k guarantee. We had to add just over $100, so there was a huge overlay...j/k.

Look to have around 1,000 this weekend in the $340 200k guarantee.

Actually finished some time around 5 am Monday morning.....very long structure and 1105 players. We started day 2 with 136 players and 11 million in chips in play.

There are still rooms available for every day through the end of the event. We are getting close for this weekend, but still have availability. To get a room on property this weekend , you will need to call today or tomorrow.
