Hotels in the area anyone recommend?

hampton was nice/cheap/had a special rate, pretty sure the sheraton/westin are also nice

what's the closest airport to this? and roughly how long/cost is the cab ride?

closest airport is FLL cab ride will cost you like $40 plus tip iirc. like 25-30m

How are cash games here, big games like hard rock?

last year 5/10 was 1500 max but they had 10/25 uncapped when they had enough players

Thanks Joe. They need to dedicate you to be a Q&A person. Always interested in cash obv since that's what I play mostly/every casino has some different rules one way or another.

I have to say though, THR hollywood has best cash setup(5/10+) that I've played.

I also thought Hampton was ok the few times i stayed there, however, after hearing about a friend of mines room getting broken in to at 10:30 at night I am not so sure. The Westin is a couple bucks more but is better IMO.

For the love of god, do not stay at Alpha Stay Hotels/ Marie Green Forum. I made the mistake of not booking a hotel before I got down there a couple years ago for this event and that was the only place that had available rooms. Huge mistake. Place is like a badly converted mental hospital/ half-way house.

i stayed at the sheraton last year and it was pretty nice other then the fire alarm going off 3 days in a row for no reason

I was looking at westin, seems liek you can get a upgraded room for like 100/night, seems the best.
