Structures are quite good - I played lit last year and from what I see they are even better this year. Main has 25k starting with 45 min levels.

Heard the same thing about the guy, had drinks with him IRL and he seemed like an stand up guy, really dont know him personally though.

Also every mtt ive ever played in Calgary the structure has been terrible but hopefully im wrong for these.

Yes, the organizer, not the TDs. He is just infamous for making promises he can't keep and has a history of money management problems.

That being said, I will be there for the Main Event and the post-main events. I actually had a ton of fun at this series in 2010. Looking forward to it.

157 players entered the Event 1 $550 buy in. Angie Gelinas is chipleader with 16 players left in final day that goes at noon. Just under $20k for first.

$1100 Mega stack starts at 2pm today and a good field is expected based on pre registrations and all the players in the hotel from across Canada and the US.

$5k Heads Up event starts Monday with bracket drawing in the Showroom at noon.

Tonight at 7pm there is a $520 + $30 satellite (MTT format) where 1 in 10 wins a seat. Tomorrow there is a 2 step satellite. At 2pm there is a $90 + $10 step 1 where in in 7 wins a seat into the 7pm $520 + $30 step 2.
