Yes it is connected by a hallway with some high end stores in it. Def a nicer/quieter peaceful stay. No ringing of slot machines in the hallway. More if you dont like to be DIRECTLY in the action.

Price diff is around 75 -100 bucks per night i think. Personally I think the rooms are the same quality as Borgatas, but you pay for the secluded lobby area away from the casino floor.

IDK about airport? From nyc.

Borgata has free wifi in the poker room. But not in the rooms. Its 9.95. I know...crazy.

Fly in Philadelphia for the easiest route to AC. It is about an hour and a straight shot on the AC Expressway.

Newark is almost 2 hours away with traffic and NYC (LGA or Kennedy)is 2.5 or more.

Spirit Airlines has service into Atlantic City Int'l (ACY) from a limited number of departure locations. Otherwise, fly into Philadelphia Int'l (PHL).

IIRC no free internet in the rooms, but I think there's free WIFI in the Borgata hotel elevator lobby.

Not really true anymore. The Borgata rooms were recently renovated and the rooms are now newer than water club. Whether they are nicer is personal preference.

New rooms in the Borgata tower are very nice. I've never stayed in the Water Club so I can't compare the two, but the renovated Borgata rooms are the nicest standard rooms I've seen in the city.

I like the Water Club rooms a little better but there isn't much difference. Water Club TVs kinda suck though. Water Club room service >> Borgata. WC is also closer to the poker room, guess that doesn't matter much for this series.

Re: 2012 Borgata Poker Open - Sept. 5-21

Hey guys, I'm excited about the main event and am looking to win my way via satellite/qualifier. I live quite a bit away from AC and was wondering if any of you knew if they had an affiliation with a particular poker web site such as Party Poker like WPT Malta, WPT Montreal, etc. have? Thank you for your help.

With so many people probably coming in on Tues. the 4th (the day before the 1 mil guarantee), any chance of putting in a satellite to the main on that night. It would be nice to have something to do. It's a win-win for everyone.

I doubt that any U.S. casino has an affiliation with an online poker site.
