I registered online and it stated that you have to register at cage two hours prior to the start of the tournament or your seat could be forfeited

I think previously TAB has stated that "Don't worry. Your seat will not be forfeited." And I will take his words.

I come from around 2 hours drive. Many players comes from longer drive or out of states !

Some time lines are 1 to 2 Hours wait !

And what if they sold out the tourney.

Does anyone know if event #16 HU is double or single elimination? Also, what is the cutoff for end of day one.

Thanks

I am thinking of making the trip from Florida up there for this event. What kind of poker room rates are available?

It has been 2 out of 3 matches for the past 2 or 3 series. I would assume same.

Don't try walking from the Borgata to anywhere. Take taxies. I think the max they can charge you is $13.

Register early. If you show up to register on time or late then you will be standing in line.

Play the football pick challenge. It is free and fun.

Stay at the waterclub if you can. It is newer and the rooms are nicer.

If you want to go to another casino, Revel, Harrahs, and Caesers are probably the better ones. I have not checked out the Golden Nugget since they remodeled from Trump Marina. You can pretend you are in Rounders and go to the Taj Mahal.... and you probably could get a relaxation therapist..... among many other unwanted germs.

The beach is nice and the boardwalk is worth the stroll with wife/girlfriend. The shops are overpriced in Caesers... except maybe Geox which has great quality shoes. The outlet stores are decent if that is your thing.

Food: I like Doc's Oyster House, Mortons, Bobby Flays, Old Homestead.
Medium/Lower price food: Borgata buffet, Mexican place in Harrahs (forgot name), any of the food downstairs at Borgata, etc

Have fun!

Thanks rolledup. You say stay at the Waterclub, is that connected to the main Borgata hotel where the poker series will be held? Price difference?

Also, what airport would I fly into? Recommended airlines?

Does Borgata have free wifi?

Thanks.
