Yeah, it's a great flick but I can't call it a favorite. I find the characters well portrayed but annoying. I thought of picking 2046 also, but then would have to go back and get Days of Being Wild. It's WKW's male characters -- they make too many mistakes that I can identify with. I just sit there and squirm while watching this trilogy.
Plus, it's a complete waste of Maggie Cheung. I really wanted As Tears Go By, but it was behind Akira in that year's rankings, so I took my
real favorite/guilty-pleasure, Tapeheads. There's no way in the world to fade the Swanky Modes or Roscoe's.
