Wolf Alice and Chvrches at the Brooklyn Bowl in Vegas.
Another fantastic concert at that particular venue.
I like Chvrches quite a bit, I was really wanting to see Wolf Alice - my favorite young, new band in the last few years. They're from England. Take one part Smashing Pumpkins, a dash of Veruca Salt, and two parts 90s shoe gaze, and you have Wolf Alice. Great songs.
my favorite concerts I've seen in my lifetime are Stone Temple Pilots and Live, both of which are impossible to see at this point. I've seen both of them 5 plus times. Incredible live shows.
Saw Modest Mouse and Brand New last week in Raleigh and Sunday night in Atlanta. Raleigh was quite a drive but I couldn't pass up the chance to see these amazing bands together. I'm a huge Brand New fanboy with the highest of unrealistic expectations and was still not disappointed. Isaac did a fantastic job closing the show in Raleigh in the 95F heat but phoned it in a bit opening in Atlanta imo.
Saw Brand New last year in Raleigh. Was amazing. I actually drank too much cause i was so excited so i dont remember the whole concert as well as i would like.

Chuck Berry and Little Richard in back to back nights at BBKings in Times Square. They were both very old obviously and I think it was Little Richards last tour due to healt. We had to help Chuck along with the words at times. All in all a great time though. Other legends I've seen in concert: Bob Dylan, BB King, Toots Hibbert and the Maytals (the original reggae band), Buddy Guy (probably the best live of all these). Bad Religion like 5 times (imo greatest punk band of al time). Toots was probably the most fun, but unfortunately the last time I saw him some young SOB threw a bottle at him and the show ended early, but he will probably pay the rest of his life for that mistake./ rant
Saw The Cure and Modest Mouse this summer. Both were great. Brand New opened for MM. I don't know their music but people seemed to enjoy them
Also took wife and kids to see Coldplay a few weeks ago. Their first few albums were great, last few meh. But they put on a big show for sure and hard not to have a good time.
