Yeah I know many people who have met or hung out with David on a personal level (most of them get paid by him to meditate for hours every day) and every one of them said he is just the friendliest old man you'd ever meet. I guess he gets out all those demons on screen.

watched MD for the first time years ago on my PC via DVD. so the action was like 1' in front of my face. I still remember that winkies diner scene to this day, just about crapped my pants.

I guess this is sort of relevant to this thread - I have a real life photo from years ago with me and the Twin Peaks lodge and waterfall in the background (similar to what is in MSchu's post 507). if anyone is interested in seeing I can dig it out and upload.

Okay, I just had my mind blown by this theory that Mulholland Drive is a Twin Peaks story.

Before you read it, take a look at the first ten seconds of this clip from the Club Silencio sequence of MD:

Spoiler:

Notice anything? No? Look again. Still not sure? Take a look at this - but I warn you, your mind will be blown if it wasn't already:

Spoiler:

If that doesn't make you want to read this theory, nothing will. But just in case, here is a snippet from the article:

Spoiler:
Naomi Watts, Sheryl Lee, and Phoebe Augustine are all in the cast (of the new TP), as is Robert Forster, who has a small role as a detective in Mulholland Drive. The roles of Watts and Forster are yet unknown by name, but we do know Forster is playing a cop. We also know — and this is really tantalizing — that there was some filming for season three done in an exclusive Parisian club conceived and co-owned by David Lynch. Know what that club is called? Do I even have to tell you? It’s called Silencio.

I'm sold.

Did I tell you guys I do a Twin Peaks podcast these days? Just search for Twin Peaks Log in Itunes, or google 'twin peaks log good bad odd' - it's search result one.

We just covered the episode revealing who the killer was...

And Rebekah Del Rio, who played the fainting singer in MD, is in the cast of the new TP season...

Hopefully the Rabbits tie in. Some theories float around that that's connected with MD too (the two female leads plus one random dude Scott Coffey who was in MD, as they perhaps couldn't get Theroux).

Would pass out if Coop is hobnobbing with the Rabbits in the BL.

DB - I was listening to the first episode podcast - it's pretty good! Although if there's one note I'd make, maybe a little less recap and more analysis? Hearing your interpretations of what's going on is the most interesting to me. Liked your co-host, too. Especially the way she pronounces "budget." Buu-jit.

Speaking of accents, holy **** yours is awesome. I mean, I knew you were English, but not THAT English! It's like I'm listening to the cast of Snatch do a podcast lol. What's the proper term for your accent? And what about your co-host? She sounds just a tad more "proper" than you, if you know what I mean.

Good job! I'll be listening to more as I play poker this weekend

So since we know James was in a bad motorcycle accident, and there is no Donna this season, we have to assume Donna was killed in that accident, right?

I'm going to miss the way Lara Flynn Boyles breathlessly says, "Jaa...mes."
