He **** all over it in the "General Shows..." thread after the pilot. I thoroughly enjoyed it and even more so since the pilot. Not sure if he kept up with it, but probably not.
I have not seen any follow up episodes.
given the high praise it's receiving from u guys, the fact fsoyars is on the staff, and often pilots <<<< rest of season I will give it another shot and report back.
unless of course there is no way I can hate the pilot and have the show grow on me.
Just watched the first couple episodes of Bored to Death. The style of humor so far is right up my alley. Looking forward to watching the rest of the series.

It's bizarre that great TV like this slips through the cracks. I've literally only heard less than a handful of people ever mention this show, yet it looks like it's great. I don't watch much TV so I find it overwhelming how many good shows I've missed and need to catch up on.
decent chance you missed out on flight of the conchords as well, def check it out. I'm assuming your familiar with east bound and down.
as for shows still on the air, hopefully you are aware of:
justified
veep
Hannibal
Fargo
legit
Louie
the bridge
it's always sunny in Philadelphia
Been feeling a bit nostalgic so got Cracker on DVD, for anyone who hasn't heard of the show its a 90s UK police, murder series with Robbie Coltrane as a alcoholic gambling addicted criminal psychologist who the police hire to help them with there cases.
Coltrane is brilliant and the show is outstanding, probably my favorite UK TV series

Yes, best British TV drama of the 90s. Not even close.
so I hadn't gotten around to giving you're the worst another chance since the pilot, but watched the most recent episode (where they're each banging other ppl to "get even") and it was SIGNIFICANTLY better than the pilot.
the male lead still kindv annoys me, but overall felt like I was watching an entirely diff show.
Just finished Bored to Death. Great show, great 3 season run, thanks for the rec. The characters are great, with Ted Danson really playing up the eccentric rich guy and Zach Galifinakis playing down his usual man-child character to the point where it actually resembles a real person. The script is clever, the jokes are sometimes subtle and sometimes over the top.
I think I watched 3 or 4 episodes of Bored to Death when it started running and I didn't like it. But I despise that Schwartzman guy and actively avoid anything he is the lead in. He is easily my "most hated" actor. He has the most punchable looking face I have ever seen.
Just ripped through 16 episodes of Rectify, fantastic show. Nothing else like it. Treats small town southerners with far more respect than you usually see on tv.
I wasn't that crazy about Bored to Death. It seemed a little frivolous to me. I think I quit after season 1.
I'm on S2E8 of Rectify and am loving it even more the season 1. I wanted to wait until the season was done before I jumped in. I made it through that part easily, but this show can take a lot out of you burning through it so fast.
