Some like it hot is awesome. When I recently rewatched it, I noticed I had forgotten that it takes like 30 minutes to get to the funny parts. It takes its time setting up the premise.
The ending is elite.
"Duffy bear-hugs the protesting Gittes, along with Walsh, literally dragging him away from the scene, with Gittes trying to shake free. Through the crowd noises, Walsh can be heard saying, 'Forget it, Jake---it's Chinatown.'"

I take it you didn't watch the video.
This is #6 on the list.
(The discussion of the movie starts at 4:47 of the video, with the line being uttered at 5:38.)
"Soylent Green is people! We gotta stop em, somehow!"
"Oh Good. For a moment there, I thought we were in trouble."
"That'll do, pig. that'll do."
“I thought of that old joke. This guy goes to a psychiatrist and says, ‘Doc, my brother’s crazy. He thinks he’s a chicken.’ And the doctor says, ‘Well, why don’t you turn him in?’ And the guy says, ‘I would, but I need the eggs.’ Well, I guess that’s pretty much now how I feel about relationships. They’re totally irrational and crazy and absurd and . . . but I guess we keep going through it because most of us need the eggs.”
"It's too bad she won't live. But then again, who does?"
Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it."
"Like many fly fishermen in western Montana where the summer days are almost Arctic in length, I often do not start fishing until the cool of the evening. Then in the Arctic half-light of the canyon, all existence fades to a being with my soul and memories and the sounds of the Big Blackfoot River and a four-count rhythm and the hope that a fish will rise. Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of those rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters. " - A River Runs Through It
"I'm gonna be just like you. The job, the family, the ****ing big television. The washing machine, the car, the compact disc and electric tin opener, good health, low cholesterol, dental insurance, mortgage, starter home, leisure wear, luggage, three piece suite, DIY, game shows, junk food, children, walks in the park, nine to five, good at golf, washing the car, choice of sweaters, family Christmas, indexed pension, tax exemption, clearing gutters, getting by, looking ahead, the day you die. " - Trainspotting

Another one of my favorite movies as well as a great ending. However, I don't think it qualifies as a great closing "line."
Not sure why you consider that to be a great closing line. Although the movie was pretty good; ironically, I found the ending to be the weakest aspect of it. And, in fact, that line has nothing to make it memorable. (Although if someone went through the trouble of putting just those six seconds on Youtube, I guess at least some people find it memorable.)
I think I am pretty bad at this game as i don´t recall many closing lines.
A few that does pop up are:
1. This could be the beginning of a beatiful friendship (iconic, not due to my love for the movie)
2. I never stole a horse from someone I didn't like. Did I like him? Hell no; I loved the son of a bitch. You asked me if I have scars? Yessir, I have my scars. (I f..... love that movie)
End scenes are prob different as I could mention several. I always remember the end of "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" and "Man on Fire" as some that made a great impression on me.
Ernest Hemingway once wrote, "The world is a fine place and worth fighting for."
I agree with the second part.
I read an article where originally this quote wasn't in there, and they just had Brad Pitt in the police car looking all depressed. Test audiences thought it was too bleak, so they added this quote in.
