Never sent a text message
Never owned (or even used) an Apple product
Never digitally downloaded music or movies or tv shows
Never seen a Facebook page
Never visited the ebay website

So am I hopefully out of touch with modern society? Am I a weirdo, just old fashioned, or a hopleless dinosaur headed for extinction? Or do I simply find other outlets (like 2 + 2) to waste my time

The last four are okay but never having sent a text message is weird.

Not only have I never sent a text message, I've never owned a cell phone.

Never revealed the location of the bodies

Never have watched any of these.

Any of the Die Hards
Any of the terminators
None of the Harry Potters
None of the Batmans
None of the Transformers (and i loved transformers as a kid )


Something about me is off , for not having any interest in those or any of the many more i havent listed.

apple sucks (except ipod & Iphones), IMO

I think if you are over the age of 50 not having done this stuff isn't to crazy. 90% sure my mom hasn't done any except the texting, which she is awful at.

I think the ebay thing is weirder than the text message thing. I was on ebay for years before I ever texted.

I qualify as a Geezer for sure, but I have a cell phone, sold and bought a lot on Ebay, share a Facebook Page, played poker online at lot pre BF, this stuff is not rocket science to learn even at advanced ages (dementia absent of course) Come On Man! Fear is the Mind Killer!!

Don't get me wrong. I was playing on Planet Poker before anyone ever heard of internet poker I have never conformed to the whole cellphone/smartphone craze though. I often forget to bring my cellphone with me. Ebay, Facebook etc just offer no interest to me at all?

How is she awful at it? Give us an example.

My mom will text me and then call to make sure I got the text
