That's really good. Way better than what I would expect from someone who said they got "roped into" doing it.

I know, what the hell...mine would look like it was painted by a 4 year old.

That painting is sweet.

I've been pretty busy since my dog died last month and haven't had time to look for a new dog until recently. I think I might get an Australian Shepherd I saw today. This guy has 2 that were born in October and one is spayed. The spayed one looks like it may have some eye problems. The pics aren't that great of quality and it is squinting in both of them. He says the picture is bright light and that it squints in the sun. It doesn't matter too much I guess because I'll probably get the one that isn't spayed which is a red merle color.

My dogs Chewy and Sweep enjoying life on my Dad's narrow boat.

Had Sweep since he was a pup and rescued Chewy. The rescue home didn't give specifics about what exactly happened to her, all we know is that she was neglected, beaten etc.

I don't really understand why they won't tell us what happened to her, because there are some definitely some things that we could do to make her less nervous if they only told us what makes her frightened.

She isn't perfect, but she's getting there. She is gradually becoming more sociable with other dogs and is getting better on the lead every day.

Sweep is a very endearing and loveable. He's very loyal but only listens when he wants to. He's great with people but I'm reluctant to take him off the lead when I walk him because of his tendency to not listen lol. I don't want him running off into the road/getting lost in the woods. He'll be two in a couple of months.

Any questions about Chewy/Sweep I'd be happy to answer!

Alfie looks quite serious. He may be a professor one day.

my dogs killed a black snake today. it was a pretty big snake too atleast 3 ft long.

They just barked at it for twenty minutes until

my chow/lab mix approached the snake and got snapped by it then the golden retriever charged in and bit it at the core and whipped it back and forth splitting the snakes body in half. Then my young chocolate lab showed some courage after the snake was dead and started whipping the snake back and forth with his head. Then I threw the snake in the garbage.

His paws are huge.

Here's the pup I adopted two weeks ago. She's 7 months old and I just got her spayed this week.

Her name is Ginger but I cringe every time I say it so once I think of something her name is going to be changed.

Our dog is a Miniature Daschound, she believes fully that we are all her pets and that anything or anyone that moves around outside the house should meet with instant destruction via barking

Same, but as soon as you get within a few feet of Oscar he turns into megawuss and just wiggles at you until you either go away or give him belly rubs.

Anyone see that show My Cat from Hell on Animal Planet? This "cat behaviorist" works with cats that are nasty, bite and claw people, and hide all day. He advises the owners, and they become nice pets. He even tamed a feral cat.
