Update from the WPT event:

3515 total players. 176 to start day two. Blinds/antes are at 1k/4k/8k with 22.22 remaining.

1st is $260k. All of us are in the money at $1250. Very flat payout structure - we don't get to 10k until there are 27 left.

I have 24 big blinds. Time to gamboooooool.

Brutal beat. I had AQ and he had KQ. I raised, he pushed, and I called. Huge pot. Over 700k in chips. Board ran out J54 T9 to give him a straight. I would have been sitting pretty. Oh well. 3k is nothing to sneeze at, especially since I won the entry to begin with.
