Summer Breeze LC Thread Summer Breeze LC Thread

It's hilarious how that thread turned into a trial of my vices and virtues. All I did was criticize the woman who'd tried to kill my friend and then stole his money and his credit cards while he was sleeping. Seems pretty ****ing one-sided to me.

And now all of oot gets to laugh at all these raving pog lunatics in all their glory. Quite the spectacle.

When do I get to critique everyone's personality? I've always thought Dom was very smug and full of himself, seriously!

kioshk You seem like a great guy to me. Very kind with a quirky sense of humor. I like it.

You've got me listening to Van Halen early in the morning. What has the world come to.

It ain't Van Halen and it is 30 years old (can't believe it), but still great and, oh so relevant.

It's true, I am.

And I'm fine with pre1984 Van Halen. But Jump seriously sucks.

It's astounding to think that's 30 years old, isn't it??? It's like yesterday to me.

I actually didn't like Van Halen much until I saw them live (David Lee Roth era). After that I was converted. I will admit Jump is not one of their best in any way shape or form. I also really like the stuff they did With Sammy Hagar. Sammy kicks azz.

god I hate Sammy Hagar. He reminds me a stunted frat boy.

I'm not sure if anybody gets this reference but I saw Van Halen before their first album came out at the Armadillo World Headquarters. If you know this you'll realize this is a sold brag.

I much prefer the early Van Halen with Roth. Roth's voice complemented Eddie's guitar perfectly imo. Obviously his personality is a little offputting, although Eddie kinda seems like a jerk now too in some ways.

Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen played at The Armadillo World Headquarters. In fact, a live album was made of the concert. This was probably in the early 70's or so.

I'm very well aware of Austin's Armadillo World Headquarters and its legacy, although I never went there. Didn't make it down here to Texas til 86.
