vince is telling his drugdealer how someone keyed his car and both rant about what the world has become to.
1. a junkie hitman and a drug dealer talking about moral standarts is kind of funny
2. butch keyed the car (confirmed by tarantino in a radio interview)

I dig that aspect of movies. When evil men/women talk about a code of ethics, rules, etc. There's a hint of irony when they talk about what you can and can't do.
One of my favorite ones is during the wrench seen in Dodgeball, where at the end of one seen the Pirate takes a wrench in the eye, then has an eyepatch in the next scene.
my friend caught this one while we were watching Liar Liar yesterday.
when his kid asks him a bunch of question because Jim Carrey is forced to tell the truth, he makes a funny face and asks him if it'll stay that way. Jim Carrey replies no, but that some people make a living that way.

One of my favorite moments in Pulp Fiction is when Vincent and Jules are at Jimmy's house with the blood-spattered car. Jules goes on and on about how good the coffee is, while Jimmy is pissed about the "dead (guy) in my garage." Later, when Mr. Wolf arrives, Jimmy gets him a cup of coffee. Mr. Wolf turns away, takes a sip, then turns back with a smile on his face and says "MMMMM!"
That continuation of the little coffee joke always cracks me up.

I've always hoped that was improved. If it wasn't, that's fine, but I agree completely.
The three main characters are played by Tom Hanks, Bruce Dern and the "20 Days in the Show" Rick Ducommun. Anyway...at one point, Rick Ducommun tells Bruce Dern to hurry up because they're burning daylight...a phrase popularized by John Wayne in The Cowboys...which also starred Bruce Dern.
