I've never watched the show but for flipping through late at night. Does Counselor Troi ever get naked? What a MILF.

She wears skin tight clothes in like every episode. Does that count?

She was 32-39 during her run on that show. Do you know what a MILF is?

Also, I searched google shortly after this post and found some noodz. She looks better on ST though.

For me she took a significant hit in S6. I remember the 2nd part of the 19th century San Francisco episode (S6E1). She was much tanner, and the new hairstyle didn't help. Then she started wearing the standard uniform. Meh. The movies and Voyager didn't raise my opinion either, but that may have just been a result of her getting older.

Yes, but it's not just good-looking mothers in general. A 19-year-old with a baby would not be a MILF - - - at least not in its original incarnation. The genesis and evolution of the term derives from teenage boys discussing their friends' mothers. So in that sense, even 32 could be considered a little young for MILF status.

Please post pictures of what you think a MILF looks like.

And I'll continue to think she was a MILF, regardless of whether or not she even had a kid. When I see her in that outfit I instantly think "MILF".

You and Dom might be conflating "Cougar" with MILF here or something. I think Cougars are generally envisioned as older women. Especially those that prey on young guys.

I feel like you have to have a kid to qualify, otherwise you're just a hot 30-something.

Star Trek TNG S1E18 Home Soil

They tried to rehash Devil in the Dark with more human emoting over their guilt etc.

They tried to inject tension by having many people standing around in meetings looking earnestly at whoever was speaking.

They tried.

Hard fail.

Is that the one with the silicon-based life form that's just a twinkle of light?

Yep.

Troi rocked the cleavage in this one tho

Heh, I actually thought this one was okay, probably for some of the same reasons I liked Devil in the Dark. It's a very Roddenberryesque episode, what with the Enterprise finding new life forms and learning to get along with them. There's a good bit of Data kicking ass ad very little Wesley.

Also, Picard being described as "a bag of mostly water" was funny to me for some reason.

Star Trek TNG S1E19 Coming of Age

An episode about Wesley Crusher applying for the academy by showing how awesome he is in a set of tests, whilst Picard gets the runaround... sounds like the worst episode ever.

However, it wasn't really terrible. Just average to bad.

We do get Riker doing his patented leg over the back of the chair sitdown, so it has that going for it.

IIRC, this is where we first learn that Picard has an artificial heart.

No that's a S2 episode, which also involved Wesley going to take some exams or something (he and Picard were chillin out during a shuttle craft ride).

Thanks. I was confusing the two episodes. Now that you mention it was s2, I recall Dr. Pulaski in the episode.

Crusher taking college entrance exams sounds like the worst idea for a show ever, but this one actually works by giving us a bit of insight into the non-Wesley characters. I think the idea behind Coming of Age was that the writers wanted to get young viewers into the show by introducing a theme young people could relate to. honestly, it never made sense to me. Crusher has already saved the Enterprise like twice already by discovering ingenious solutions that the engineering team couldn't find and it's already been established that he's some kind of genius. Is the TNG wunderkind really going to struggle with entrance exams?

Star Trek TNG S1E20 Heart of Glory

A very solid episode, one of the best ones in this season so far, that gives us a bit more insight into both Worf, and the Klingon race. I enjoyed this one a lot, even though the first act was a little slow.

Worf's character didn't seem quite on point in this one though, but I think that was because his character hadn't settled down at this point.

The casting of the other Klingons in this was pretty excellent.

Also the first appearance of frequently recurring guest star Vaughn Armstrong as Korris, who did a total of 13 characters, including another 2 Klingons.
