There's a multimillion-dollar startup lurking in this idea: aerodynamic flyswatters.
Instead of moving air, the swatter would be made of tiny airfoils, so the swatter would cut through the air rather than displace it.
If the idea doesn't work on flyswatters, try it on jet fighters.
