Sexiest Voice on a Actor/Actress/well-known persons - The Lounge Discussion and Review on Literature, Arts, Culture

I'm just gonna stick with actresses for mine, but I think:

Kathleen Turner - no matter she now looks like herself in the fat suit at the end of 'Man with Two Brains', that voice is just terrific, especially in 'Roger Rabbit'. To bastardize Mickey Spillane, that voice is enough to make a bishop kick in a stain-glass window.

Joey Lauren Adams - Not that well known, probably best recognised as lead character 'Alyssa' in 'Chasing Amy'.

Both husky types.

I've always thought Natalie Portman's voice had a sexy quality, maybe it's the raspy end she puts on her syllables.

Some of the girls in Friday Night Lights aswell. btw - sorry, I know there are a bunch of different Southern accents, but I can't differentiate between them.

i love this thread because i'm totally into voices. For me a person's voice is probably the number 1 trait that catches my attention (the other being their smile).

For girls the first two that popped into my mind were Rachel McAdams (Red Eye) and Cameron Diaz. I love both women's voices, I don't know why. But enough about women. I don't feel like analyzing why i think they are sexy.

Let's talk about men! Luke Wilson, Sean Connery, Viggo Mortensen, Liam Neeson and Josh Holloway, off the top of my head. OMG. I would post pics but am at work.

For dudes, Nat King Cole for singing and Sean Connery's (pre-lisp and toned down on the Scotsman) for speaking.

For women, I don't know, there are so many with good voices. I really like Cheryl Crowe's for singing.

Oh, DB, Kathleen Turner's voice used to be a little arch but sexy; now it's entirely arch and she's famous for talking like she's trying to roll marbles around in her mouth. She's more pretentious than Madonna's English accent.

It's not she doesn't sound as sexy because of the wear and tear of life and bad habits; she doesn't speak at all in the same manner. The false teeth thing is not going to do it.
