I'm starting to think a mass sterilization is in order.

Have I got the group for you. AND this is not a joke.
Join the Voluntary Human Extininction Movement.

Phasing out the human race by voluntarily ceasing to breed will allow Earth's biosphere to return to good health. Crowded conditions and resource shortages will improve as we become less dense.

This sounds familiar. At least my mom was nice enough to not take my car, though

Our conversation after lunch regarding a class he needs to go to at 11:30 on Thursday...
Me: There's a bus...
Him: Not at 11:30
Me: Well, that sounds inconvenient for you...
He's currently checking out riding his bike to town, 11 miles.
Me: Be sure to take water with you....
|
When I was in elementary school I had to wake up at 5:00 a.m. to walk to the bus that went through a neighboring military base at about 8 a.m. That was the longest walk I had, but I've had other very long walks to school. A bike ride for a pretty much grown up kid may sound like rough going, but it's pretty doable. I did as much, by bike and by foot, and it wasn't the end of the world for me.
Not a ton of fun in the rain of course.

holy crap, I haven't sweated like that in a long time. It was 55 minutes long. Damn good workout. I feel great.

I just finished the program. Kenpo is by far the easiest non-rest day. Wait till you get to Yoga, you aren't going to believe how hard it is.

You can throw me on that list too, except I've pretty much given up. I feel like if I can give it completely to resignation, I might have a good shot at contentment; I've deduced pretty conclusively that happiness isn't going to happen, but dead-eyed contentment certainly seems within my reach. But goddamn is hope an intractable mother****er. It's a stubborn creationist in a room full of evolutionary scientists and refuses to listen to my thought out and otherwise compelling arguments. So yeah, hope is grossly (in whatever sense) and deviously overrated imo.

I admire your efforts there so much that I'm almost willing to consider doing this.
Almost.
But I also keep hoping against hope that a little benign neglect may do the trick.

Big deal, when I was in elementary school, I had to walk 5 miles to and from school, and it was uphill, both ways.

This has been my motto for the past few years. It's less exciting, but it's so much lower variance.
