Blues guitarist extraordinaire, Johnny Winter, passed away in Zürich Switzerland in the midst of his extensive summer tour. He was 70.

Saw him in Little Rock last year. Had to be helped on stage then. Dude could play. Loved him with Muddy Waters.

I knew of him but knew little of his music. Reading his wiki, I see he won 3 Grammys producing Muddy Waters, pretty awesome.

he's had to be helped on stage almost all his life because of his extremely poor vision due to the albino-ism

Never saw him live but remember him on Letterman sometime back in the 80's. Looked like he had one foot in the grave then. Appeared very unhealthy but played his ass off.
