Helicopters on luxury yachts are not made for long range flights. Hell, most helicopters are not made for long range flights. Plus, any storm that can threaten an ocean going yacht would tear apart a small helicopter.

Yeah, I always kind of figured the helicopter couldn't make it that far. But then again, how exactly were they traveling through the Atlantic ocean (not the Mediterranean) to get from Italy (was it?) to Switzerland? Even if they were coming from the south of France, why would they end up in the Atlantic? Or was the storm supposed to have taken place in the Mediterranean?

Biggest hole in Pacific Rim is the sheer absurdity of building an entire wall around the ****ing Pacific Ocean instead of just building a ****-ton of Jaegers and ganking the Kaiju 5-1 when they get near land..

Or, better yet, nuking them as soon they surface.

it wasn't a big deal but they totally pulled the prior relationship between Bourne and Julia Stiles' character that they reference in Bourne supremacy out of their ass and it was in no way consistent with her behavior in the 1st 2 movies.

it was as if they just wanted some kindv emotional relationship for the 3rd movie so invented it.

the way she acted in the 1st 2 films was totally at odds with her behavior in the 3rd film and her deciding to throw away her entire career and put her life in danger and have to live the rest of her life on the run was just totally out of the blue and out of character.

Pretty sure it would be allowed into evidence. You can't match knives the same way that you match ballistics on guns, so the fact that he owned a knife similar to the one that caused the wound is as good a match as you're going to get. Kind of like how in the OJ trial they were able to present evidence that OJ owned the same type of shoes that made the bloody shoeprints, even though the actual shoes used during the crime were never discovered.

I freely stipulate you've forgotten 100x more about movies than I'll ever know.

But the scene is set while they're in port. You can see the port in the background while he's convincing the captain to take the ill-fated trip. You can see the helicopter during the scene, too.

It's just a plot hole - no big deal. But they screwed it up.

V for Vendetta

When she is imprisoned by V it seems so unlikely that she wouldn't suspect something was off, how could he hide his face and put on different accents so well, I always thought this part of the movie was pretty unbelievable
