Re: Pick a TV Show, pick its best episode, tell us why...
Frasier: An Affair to Forget
Frasier receives a call on air about a woman who is convinced her husband, a German fencing instructor, is having an affair with a wealthy new client. Later, he learns from Niles that Maris has taken up fencing, with a German fencing instructor called Gunnar. Frasier is convinced that Maris is having an affair with Gunnar but Martin just says it's coincidence. However, when the caller rings back and says she has found letters describing the 'other woman' as 'not quite human woman', and reveals that her husbands name is Gunnar, Frasier is convinced. He goes to see Maris, in her sensory deprivation tank, saying she has to end the affair and then opens it up to confront her face to face - only to find Niles sitting there. Apparently, Marta has trouble with her pronouns and so Niles is Missy Crane. Niles is determined to stand up to Gunnar and challenges him to a duel. Let swordplay commence.....

LOST - Season 4 - The Constant
Probably the best episode of television I've ever seen.
The Losties are getting off the island, Desmond is finally going to get to go home and see Penny, Desmond's consciousness starts traveling back through time, Desmond finds out he is going to die as a result of his this, unless he finds Penny in the past and convinces her to do something for him in the future even though she hates him at the moment in the past.
Desmond + Sayid + Faraday + Penny + time travel + love = awesome
entire episode: http://abc.go.com/watch/lost/SH55906...9/the-constant
and it has the best scene/sequence of all in LOST(note its the end so spoilers obv)

I'd say "The Constant" was the best ep of a series and "We have to go back!" was the best ending of an ep.

Re: Pick a TV Show, pick its best episode, tell us why...
God, LOST was such a good show. Even though The Constant and Through the Looking Glass were probably my favorite episodes of the show, I'm going to nominate another episode that doesn't get as much love.
Greatest Hits
It took me from viewing Charlie as a whiny character with no backstory where when I saw him all I did was dread having to deal with Claire onscreen, to a multidimensional character I really cared about. All five of the moments that were his 'greatest hits' were really done well, and obviously culminated with meeting Claire on the island.
some others:
Entourage
-Gotta Look Down to Get Up
That episode, where John Ellis is wooing Ari with gifts in an attempt to get him to tak the studio head job, is truly remarkable.

This scene between Ari and Vince is priceless. Jeremy Piven does such a great job in this episode.
Dinner Party (The Office) is a great episode. i love The Office for how much it makes you squirm in your seat while watching it- no episode made me more uncomfortably amused than this one.

I know everyone likes "Jurrasic Bark" for Futurama but my favorite episode has to be "The Sting".
While collecting honey, a space bee attacks Lela and kills Fry. The episode revolves around Lela attempting to deal and cope with Fry's demise, if he is actually dead.

Everybody Loves Raymond - Marie's Sculpture. This show is always on in re-runs, so I'll watch is sometimes, though it's usually background noise. Over the years, I've seen tons of episodes but none of them are that memorable, but this one is.

Re: Pick a TV Show, pick its best episode, tell us why...
seinfeld. the chinese restaurant episode where they are waiting for a table the whole episode. i just find it funny every time they ask how long its gonna be to be seated the host always said "5, 10 minutes"
that episode inspired me to eat chinese food and have had it 5-6 times since watching it and everytime i call for carryout they always say "5, 10 minutes" and not "5 to 10 minutes" just "5, 10"
is this chinese restaurant tradition to say this?

Lost: Through the Looking Glass- Just an absolutely stunning and amazing cliffhanger
The Office: Pam/Jim's Wedding- Really well done, ending of a storyline that had been running since the first episode, lots of solid jokes and subplots
Entourage: Vegas Baby Vegas- Seth Green was great, subplot about Drama and the massage guy was hilarious as well
