Director: Akira Kurosawa

An epic, it is the quintessential samurai film. But, it is so much more than that. It is timeless, itself covering a period 400 years prior to the film. It inspired great films. Kurosawa shows the struggle between good and bad, the nuances and horror of wartime, and the rigid social structure and the duty of the individual to greater society. Kurosawa inspired generations of directors.

Action movies on my world are going to kick ass. They will be violent, they will be well thought out, and the characters will be complex. Akira Kurosawa is off the table.

It seems pretty clear that the best-value picks so far are the Fallingwater House and Leonard Da Vinci as god. Jesus and Bob Dylan are really good value too, if only because they would've been scooped up quite fast. And Dom, Spaghetti Monster is brilliant.
