Landon, Some Girls is pretty good but if you want to like the Stones you should get Exile on Main Street.

really? i mean i love Exile.. but i think that its not great for someone trying to get into the stones..
(plus its a double album which might make it a bit much to digest)

Never gets old

Funny I just started listening to Revolver again.

I think the Rolling Stones' earlier pre-bluesey stuff needs more love. More Brian Jones-era stuff.

Aftermath and Between the Buttons are two truly great places to start.

Speaking of Aftermath, apparently Ringo wanted to call Revolver After Geography as a play on Aftermath.

Full Blown Chaos-Heavy Lies the Crown

The Gaslight Anthem.

Kind of like a cross between Springsteen and the Killers, works well imo.

Music has started to wind me up a little bit because I feel that there's so much out there that's relatively easily accessible (spotify!) that I'll never really have time to listen to everything I want to and while my chances of discovering new music that I like have probably increased, the time spent listening to new music to find out if I like it limits the time I can spend listening to music that I like.

That said, I am in love with the new Dinosaur Jr. album 'Plans' right now.

Also listening to Desaparacidos (one of Conor Oberst's bands) quite a lot at the moment.

I've got my Mazzy Star catalog on repeat
