Went to the Roger Waters: The Wall Live (Pink Floyd) show at the UC last night.
Best concert/musical perforamnce I've ever seen.
Sound quality was excellent and the visuals were stunning.

Fav song was Comfortably Number - the version last night was about 2 minutes longer.

Although I wasn't crazy about them before, Arcade Fire's Suburbia has made me a believer. I've been listening to Suburbia, Funeral, and Neon Bible nonstop for the last 3 days.

What the hell? After a decade of his voice getting worse by the album, Chris Cornell reunites with Soundgarden to release an album that picks up where they left off. The reunion album is full of strong tracks, and Cornell's voice is back. Soundgarden fans will be pleased.

Meh, confirmed. My own fault for instantly hitting play before checking out the info behind the album. No wonder the tracks sound like they came from the classic Soundgarden era.

I'm listening to old Neil Diamond. Solitary Man, Sweet Caroline, Cracklin Rosie, I Am I Said, etc...

He is a helluva songwriter with a real feel for the language. I won't defend The Jazz Singer stuff or anything after that, but he is the real thing.
