One of my favorite songs of his. Makes me want to do something dangerous... like quit my job.
Peter Gabriel is so solid. I can't really even describe his genre. It's more like "world music" because he uses so many different sounds and international influences and instruments.
I was introduced to this recently by a friend. It is amazing. I've always theoretically been intrigued by concept albums, but they are often a mess. This one is different, and I think it is because they completely commit to the idea. There is no filler. Every lyric on the album is committed to telling a story. Some people might be turned off by the absurdity of the story told, but I love it. I'm really enjoying listening to an album in which more and more nuances are being revealed to me on each listen. It's been awhile since I was this engaged in an Album, I highly recommend it.

Holy crap. This has been one of my favorite songs since I was a kid. I thought it was from the 50s. I had no idea it was written in the doo-wop style by Billy Joel.
There's a programme Beat Surrender on BBC Radio Newcastle every Saturday that's great for punk/post-punk if you like that kinda thing. You can catch the whole 3.5 hours here:
I don't think that clip of Firth of Fifth, which is one of my favorite pieces of music ever, really does it justice. I like the studio version better (which includes the full awesome piano intro):
