I never was a big gamer, but my nephew pointed me to some pretty good music from video games. I like the more mellow, haunting stuff and not the hard crap. The Silent Hill series had some good tracks. Here's a Chrono Cross cover that is one of my favorites and an improvement on the original, IMHO.

Thanks for posting this. Was trying to think of this guys name a couple of weeks ago. Had an album ( or an eight track actually) of his years ago and really loved it at the time. Was probably 1972 or 1973. Believe it was a Groundhogs album though, and not one of his solo works.

Hi all, hope you don't mind a little spam, but I'm running a Walrus over in Puzzles and Other Games and thought some of you might be interested.

Walrus is a game where you all submit songs to me that fit particular categories. I listen to them all, rank them all, and then reveal the ranking on the forum while writing snarky comments about the ones I don't like. You get more points the higher your song is ranked in each round, and the person who gets the most points over the whole walrus wins. Hopefully at least the odd one of my comments is vaguely amusing, everyone finds some new music they like, and we get to lol at anyone who gets too rustled by anything.
