High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story

It's horrible... basically unwatchable. Michael Imperioli is completely awful as Stu.

Death to Smoochy was trash. I couldn't finish it, and I like Ed Norton and Robin Williams.

Any of the Focker movies. They all make my face wrinkle up like I've eaten a green persimmon.

I thought I was the only one here who had extreme disinterest in most of Kubrick. Absolutely love Dr. Strangelove, Spartacus, and Paths of Glory but pretty much can't sit through 10 minutes of the other stuff most here drool over.

I liked Cage in Moonlighting too (and Cher).

Cage has lots of great movies/roles. His problem is he has more terribly bad movies/roles than almost anyone.

Although I'd consider a pass for:

Mildly NSFW (and homosexual)

As a Kubrick fanboi, I used to hate this film then I finally gave it one last chance and loved it, now I think it's one of the best films ever made. And probably the best cinematography in any movie. The problem was I never left it on long enough to see that the film isn't 2.5 hours or beating people up.

Cage's excuse is he owed/owes the IRS like $100 million in back taxes, that's why he keeps regurgitating ****. Sandler is supposedly worth like 300 million and has no god damn excuse to be putting out the films he's putting out. He has his own production company, too, so he's way more to blame. **** YOU ADAM.

A preposterous film dressed up as arthouse which is really hockum. The best bit in it is the lesbian scene and that isn't that good.

Most films I really dislike are films that last way too long (why does a film have to last hours to be counted as a noteworthy film? Films didn't used to be this long. So many films I have been to lately last over 2 and a half hours and I can see parts that obviously should've been cut to make the film more entertaining. Even if a film has a good story and good acting, if it goes on too long it becomes tiresome.), and films that think/pretend they are somethign they are not.

You didn't even like the first one? You have to agree that the first one is way better than the 2nd. (I didn't see the last one but assume it was pretty bad.)

Magnolia is a masterpiece. A beautiful film.

damn, I was looking forward to this one. I like films about dancers. Is it really that bad?

Well, loads of people thought it was fantastic and Nathalie Portman received an oscar for it but I found it overtly melodramatic and ridiculous.
