Disagree and if only for Bale's performance is worth the watch.

That's why movie snobs like us can never watch films by ourselves, unless we video ourselves watching the movies.

It's such a burden being such an attention whore.

Let it Ride

80's comedy starring Richard Dreyfuss as a gambler who has promised his wife to give up the ponies, but then stumbles across "a sure thing".

Jennifer Tilly has a small supporting role.

A hillarious movie.

A-

Winter Bone
I guess the point is that being a poor hillbilly sucks. But what I got out of it was watching a movie about poor hillbillies really sucks. The performances were really good but who cares? It was long, it was drawn out, it was boring, and I just couldn't care less.
D
The Fighter was a lazy, generic, boring, cliche, and trite movie that has my vote as the biggest waste of time of 2010.

Winter's Bone is a great movie and one of the best (if not the best) movies from last year imo

I really really liked Rabbit Hole. Just watched it for the first time and found it pretty well done. I love Eckhart's job in this movie especially. Just something I enjoyed (or didn't enjoy?) a lot.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

Though I have enjoyed the long-standing feud with my friend Rushmore over this film, my comments have always come from ignorance. I'd never even seen the film. Now having watched it, I feel a bit ashamed of my callous attacks on a film I can think of no better word for than masterpiece. Impeccable acting, rich cinematography, a haunting score, and a pace that seems slow yet increasingly tense. I could watch the opening scene and the train robbery sequence again and again. Critics who complained about overly long takes have seen too many Michael Bay films. When you watch this film, you should remove all distractions. Relish how rich it is. I am about to watch it again.

Also enjoyed Rabbit Hole. Just for a minute, I thought it was going into Twilight Zone territory. You know what I'm talking about.

The Assassination of Jesse James is ok, but is boring in places and way too long

Barton Fink (1991), The Coen Brothers

Viewed this movie for the first time.

I know what was in THE BOX. It was the head of Orson Welles. It is no coincidence that Citizen Kane was made in 1941, the same year as the setting of the movie.

Beyond that, I got nothing from the film, aside from a few guffaws.

In other news, no matter how many people try to make me enjoy and appreciate the Kill Bill movies, I do not.

I think they're actually stupid and annoying. I hate the (purposely yet somehow not-purposely) cheesy music and I hate the cartoon martial arts and I hate the stupid code names the women have.

In fact, I just don't like these movies at all.
