Nice mustache. A lot of people don;t know pseudo-intelligence is grown from fancy facial hair. Now go tickle a little boys ******* with it, you pedophile-looking douchebag.
A fine example.

Re: Movies: What have you seen lately - part 2

Reminds me of something a website called SomethingAwful used to do, called TruthMedia.

They would post fake very negative reviews of wildly popular things specifically to generate hate mail and of course the reviews would be riddled with mistakes and inaccuracies, which sets the fanboys off even more.

The website of the guy who gave the first negative review. The comments are pretty lolworthy. Butthurt fanboys/girls abound.

This is a less a review and more a personal attack towards people you disagree with.

Why are people like this allowed to write articles?
This one made me lol. Perfectly encapsulates the entitled troll that lurks the internet in the millions waiting to pounce on anyone that dares to disagree with them. The review was pretty mild and yet this neckbeard thinks he is under relentless barrage of personal attacks.

Yes you ****ing troll, we should shoot every writer that disagrees with you!

How about Lynne Ramsay?

Re: Movies: What have you seen lately - part 2

i loved ratcatcher, the other two i am indifferent to meh on.

there are a few things coming out soon i want to see - margaret, snowtown murders, hick, the hunter, & a seperation are all on my queue but on wait or not out yet. nothing that is actually available right now on my queue looks too enticing. guess now is a good time to rent some classics i haven't seen. but there's gotta be quite a few things i missed.

It was certainly oddly campy. And oddly attempting to have some artistry, I think. I don't know.

I will admit I still would watch the sequel...though I have no idea why.

It's a blast, the sequel cranks (excuse me) up the insanity by about 100 fold. Essentially live action R rated Looney Tunes.

Beasts of the Southern Wild is a fantastic film. One of the most beautifully shot films of the year, great sound mix too. Worthy of all hype and awards discussion, this will be a monster come awards season.

Re: Movies: What have you seen lately - part 2

Just watched the extended cut of Margaret. Still processing it, but I'll have to agree with the other posters in this thread that have said it's a masterpiece.

What it seems most to be is a fractured love poem to the impossibility and insanity that is New York City.

Off to ruminate...
