I like other Nolan films. I didn't even mind the flawed Inception. Interstellar was his first film I genuinely hated.

I liked Interstellar for the same reason I liked The Fountain. I like movies that try to tackle questions beyond its reach and fail spectacularly. I think there is value in reaching beyond the capabilities of the director and a 2 hour runtime.

Interstellar blows, liked all other Nolan films and really like Inception.

Dunkirk should be interesting because it is something written by only himself and not his brother, so we can judge it more of a pure Christopher Nolan film. I would one day like to see Nolan direct a script written by somebody else though so we can actually judge him as a director instead of an everything.

I think is fair. He is a good technical director but terrible screenwriter.

How do you define good technical director though? A lot of his action scenes are incomprehensible.

The action scenes in his Batman movies were the worst I have ever seen.

Baltimore, I find your political comments regarding Batman interesting, but you have to realize Nolan didn't make Batman that way...that IS Batman....ever since the beginning. He's a hero AND a fascist...

And I like Nolan...his movies are never boring.

Memento and The Prestige are truly great films.

Inception, the Batman movies, and Insomnia are damn entertaining.

Interstellar was interesting to me...he bought off more than he could chew...so what?

Bolded same for me. Never felt like I haven't got my money's worth from a Nolan film.
