It's definitely Mark Hamill. Not only is it his Luke voice, they're Luke's lines from Return of the Jedi. Feel free to speculate on who is whispering the echo behind him though.

As to other posts - Rocky and the first three SW are must-sees and all-time greats. Rocky 2, 3, 4 are very good but far more Hollywood style story than the original. The later Star Wars prequels are pretty meh.

New Star Wars looks like it is going to be great! The prequels were such ****... incoming record box office as people cleanse themselves of episodes 1-3 by binging on episode 7 half a dozen times.

"My father has it"... means darth vader is still alive/in this movie.

His father is Luke, though. It's Luke's son played by Domhnall Gleeson. If I were a gambling man I'd put money on it.

Batman vs Superman is out...

it's mark hamill's voice. did some of you even listen to what he said? "you have that power too"--so it's luke talking to his son.

Rocky 2 and 3 also very good. Mr. T is awesome.

First 3 Star Wars movies are totally great if you're a kid, but even as an adult there are some fantastic scenes and an incredible score. Some of the scenes, especially those with the emperor in return of the Jedi are quite Kubrickesque imo.

I love this scene

Others have said it, but this is pretty much gospel, and I'm surprised anyone here would disagree, and would have serious skepticism about anyone who felt even remotely differently.

I can understand people of a certain age not having seen these, but just do it. I thought the same way about Casablanca and 2001 (and maybe others) for a long time. I know what they are, I know people love them, but I get it just from hearing and reading about them. No need to sit through them. Wrong. They're so goddamn amazing, you need to watch it, and then rewatch it.

Rocky is great. Rocky 2 is very good.

Rocky 3 and 4 are modern reworkings on mythological themes. And for that reason great.

Let's not argue, I'm right.

The first three sentences are correct, so I won't argue about the fourth.

Every second of Burgess Meredith is great.

Music in the Rocky movies is phenomenal. I love this scene right after she says 'win.'

Well he was a force ghost at the end of RotJ so he could appear in some capacity.

It's just a teaser with music and dialogue borrowed from previous movies. I think it's just meant to say there's a family connection happening again in this new one. Could be one of Luke's kids, one of Leia's kids, or very possibly more than one.

The girl definitely looks like she could be from the Skywaker tree, has a Natalie Portman kind of thing going on and figures to be the daughter. I've heard mixed rumors about Gleeson's character but they seem to have him in another role.

Dude....watch the original SW flicks and Rocky 1-4. Today.

At least watch Rocky 1. I guarantee you will not be disappointed an that it will not be what you expect.

Fruitvale Station I was bored and disconnected through much of it. The climactic scene was good but the back storytelling was weak.

I feel like there was a good movie to be made about this story but this wasn't it.

Yeah lol at anyone saying otherwise. Fire up the CSI voice recognition software. That's Mark Hamill's voice.

The first Rocky is worth seeing. The rest are not great or terrible.
04-17-2015 , 08:13 AM
psh, I say watch the first 4. It's Rocky! Do you really wanna miss out on immortal villains like Clubber Lang and Ivan Drago? I sure hope not.
