Probably because it was made in like 1985 and I was 10? All movies had to match up to Star Wars or Indiana Jones.

I mean I see where he's coming from. I remember the first time I saw that I was like 8 and it came on HBO and I remember looking at it because it was such a weird looking movie so my interest was piqued. I ended up watching the entire thing and laughing my ass off. So for a few minutes I remember thinking "wow, this looks bad. Look at that guy's hair."

Also nobody knew who the Coens were in 1987. But yeah claiming you have no idea who they are now is just silly.

Dirty Work is funny, but in a cheap throwaway way. A NormMac standup special is 100 times funnier than Dirty Work.

This promotional interview about Dirty Work is also good. Norm just totally steals this from Bob and the lady is getting wet for Norm's humor. Beware, it was shot with a potato. Bob couldn't possibly be trying any harder to usurp Norm here, and couldn't be failing any harder, either.
