As a dog owner, it really was emotional even moreso than Will Smith's death (which was pretty emotional on its own btw). I imagine anyone who has had to put a dog down found the scene tough to watch.
Possibly getting flamed for this but as a person who has lost a dog I was close to, Marley and Me takes the cake in regards to that kind of scene.
Oh and I'll also throw a really random one out there (it got me as a small kid): the ending in Harry and the Henderson's where he slaps him and basically has to treat him like crap so he'll go back to his own habitat.
A lot of the good ones have been mentioned, got to think outside the box to come up with something. Just browsed but I assume The Mist, Wicker Man (original) endings have been mentioned. You have the rape scenes in Last House on the Left and The Hills Have Eyes that are tough to watch for me personally.
