Can I get serious for a moment?

I'm very distressed because my friend is extremely depressed. It has to do with her son who has been having increasing problems in school and was recently given a psychiatric diagnosis that is worrisome. Where would one go on the forums to talk about psychiatric questions and why psychiatrists love to give labels that stigmatize people for life? I'm becoming very cynical. Are there psychiatrists who post on 2+2?

I'm going to France June 14 - July 6 to visit an old college buddy and his wife. They live near Toulouse - I'll also take a side trip to Budapest with my friend as he will work there for a few days while I'm visiting. Been wanting to do this for a few years and finally have it all set. Looking forward to getting out of this mess of a country and visiting one that is even more of a mess. Should be fun!

This could easily be one of those words with varying regional pronunciation. I learned it as behy-nal. Then I learned some French and know now that it rhymes with canal. I hear both with about the same frequency and nobody openly mocks behy-nal around here.
