tsearcher: beautiful fishtank. Now we all know where nemo ran off to.

dom: loved the inventive names of your pets. I used to have a cat that was a stray who adopted me but he wasn't anywheres near as tame as your 6 milliion dollar cat appears to be.

john cole: your dog looks like an old neighbor of mine's dog. Every time I walked my dog I would run into her and her dog. His name was Pepe and for some reason he was extremely hyper and as we chatted he would bark incessantly at me. Since we was so tiny it was really no problem and kind of ridiculous. Just drove the neighbor crazy tho and she'd tug on his leash and say "Pepe you behave" which, of course, he wouldn't. He'd bark and froth like the most neurotic small dog on the planet.
"Hehem.....excuse me, sir. Mariah Carey here. Hello?"

I find most wild, feral animals to be intimidating but I admire your bravery and ability in being able to handle him. Badgers are suppose to be ferocious....yikes just thinking about those claws and teeth make me shudder.

How did your badger get the name "Mariah Carey"?

My dog rarely barks and never barks at people. She's 28 pounds--big for a Boston Terrier--and strong as hell for a dog her size. In fact, she's got a lot in common with my old pit bull, but no one ever crosses the street when I'm walking this one.

Yes, you have a nice little dog. He doesn't have the insane gleam in his eye that Pepe had.

Re: Loungers - how about some photos of your pets?

Lots of great pics! Tsearcher, your cat looks a lot like mine. And that pic of Casey and Moe is awesome! I'd love to get a dog but our cat is so old and set in his ways now, that I'm afraid the addition of a dog would stress him out too much. I hope to adopt a greyhound someday.

Dom I'm sorry I didn't realize you had done a similar thread. I gotta learn to use the search function! Sammy seems like a cool dog - I love black labs! And I can relate to all the medical bills for Stinky Cat... A while back Oliver had to have surgery to remove his anal glands. Ouch. That was painful for both Oliver and my bank account.

We tried putting one of those big protective collars around him after the surgery, but Oliver was having none of it. He just kept walking around backwards bumping into walls and tables, trying to get the damn thing off his head. Finally we gave up and took it off him, it was too sad and pathetic!

Those are all just with a Canon digital point and shoot camera (Powershot I think?). It takes really nice pictures, especially if there's enough natural light.

I hate to say it, but I think we found the singular ugly kitten. (Percy)

I miss having animals. I think half of the reason I visit my Dad is the cool dogs he house sits.
