That's my take on it. Not sure why exactly. I don't see any realistic negative consequences from posting my picture on the internet, but still, it would be out there. And for some reason that bothers me. Seems like a silly phobia to me now that I think about it.

Not a real encouraging example. People get in trouble for stuff they post on facebook all the time. There was even a thread a while back about some underaged kid who posted pictures of himself drinking at a party (yes, this was dumb). And some local police officer actually made a facebook account for the purpose of catching underaged drinking, saw the pictures, and asked this kid to come in for questioning and I believe the kid got a fine (after admitting that yes, he was drinking underage, which was the second dumb thing he did (had he refused to go in for questioning, the cop probably wouldn't have been able to make an arrest just based on the photos)).

I was way remiss leaving Fish out of the picture picture. His pictures are always fantastic.

Orange, I ascribe the different attitude about pictures as just different strokes for different folks. Only speaking for myself, I'm a fairly introverted person, and a fairly private one. The idea of posting public pictures is a little unsettling to me.

Of course, I'm a very handsome man; that goes without saying.
